UV Doux lotion contains both physical and chemical filters. This protects the skin against sunburn, premature skin aging, photo dermatitis and reduces incidence of skin cancer. UV Doux Lotion is a broad spectrum sunscreen that provides protection against both UV-A and UV-B radiations. It is non-comedogenic, non greasy, paraben free, clinically proven ingredients and dermatologically tested.

Sun protection factor (SPF) refers to the ability of a sunscreen to block ultraviolet B (UVB) rays which causes sunburns, but not UVA rays which are more closely linked to deeper skin damage. Both UVA and UVB contribute to the risk of skin cancer. UV Doux Lotion has SPF30

Non-comedogenic is a term applied to oils, lotions and skin cream that do not block pores. Non-comedogenic products are also sometimes referred to as non-occlusive. The theory behind using non-comedogenic product is that it does not clog pores and will reduce the incidence of pimples. Acne sufferers are strongly encouraged to avoid products that contain known comedogenic substances because these can worsen acne symptoms. Most products designed for use on acne prone skin do not include ingredients that are known to be comedogenic. However some sunscreen do include oil based ingredients that can be very problematic for certain individuals. UV Doux” Lotion is oil free, non-comedogenic and safe.

Anyone over the age of six months should use a sunscreen daily. Even those who work inside are exposed to ultraviolet radiation for brief periods throughout the day, especially if the work near windows which generally filters out UVB but not UVA rays. Children under the age of six months should not be exposed to the sun since their skin is highly sensitive to the chemical ingredients in sunscreen as well as to the sun’s rays. Shade and protective clothing are the best ways to protect infants from the sun.

Everyday if you will be outside
• The sun emits ultraviolet (UV) rays year round. Even on cloudy days, 80% of sun’s harmful rays can penetrate your skin
• Snow sand and water increase the need for sunscreen as they reflect sun’s rays.

• Apply liberally and evenly on the face, neck and sun exposed area of skin 20-30 minutes prior to sun exposure.
• Re-apply sunscreen after every 2 hours or after swimming or sweating heavily.
